We are only a few days away from the games, please find below a few important final notes:

Please note the game times for our teams are as follows:

Cobras  

• Game 1: Cobras vs Magic: Monday April 30th 17:25pm
• Game 2: Cobras vs Beijing Century Star: Monday April 30th 19:15pm
• Game 3: Cobras vs Beijing Fire Dragons 2: Tuesday May 1st 9:20am
• Semifinal: TBD

Magic

• Game 1: Magic vs Cobras: Monday April 30^th 17:25pm

Please arrive 1 hour before first game to checkin. Please make sure to bring passport or official id for checkin.

JERSEYS AND SOCKS
Jerseys and Socks will be available at practices, if you will not attend practice, you can pick them up at the first game.

Dear MI5 Atoms teams parents and players, 

I would like to send a few updates this week, some of them are quite admin focused, but please do pay close attention:

COBRAS AND MAGIC TEAMS FULLY FORMED 
Great news that we now have two full Atoms teams registered: Cobras (14 players + goalie) and Magic (14 players + goalie), see Rosters. And both team photos are now on our website.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE CHANGES
My sincere apologies that I have to make a few schedule changes. Please check very carefully the Practice Schedule (please note some times have changed by 15-60 minutes in some cases). I highlighted all the changes in bold red.

I have also made tentative reservations for additional ice times during the later part of April. Please let me know whether you would like to practice during the later part of April. As usual, if we do not have enough interests, we will not run the practice.

If the schedule changes cause any of you inconvenience and you now cannot make, please let me know, I will refund your payments. 

PRACTICE PAYMENTS 
Please see Accounting to check I have got the information correct regarding practice payments. 

VERY IMPORTANT!!! PASSPORT NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH CHECK 
I need to do a name and date of birth check with each of you to ensure I have got the player’s official passport name entered into the registration form. On the day of the tournament, the player must bring his/her passport for ID check. No player will be allowed in without a proper ID matching the name and date of birth entered on the registration form. Please send me an email if your child has a name that is different than listed on the Rosters. (For privacy I've abbreviated all the last names, I think I got your last names...)


SCHOOL NOTE FOR EXCUSED ABSENCE 
Some of you have mentioned you need a school note for excused absence during MI5 tournament. Please send me an email to let me know if you need a note from a coach for your child’s school. I will get the note for you. 

JERSEYS, SOCKS AND GEAR  
Typhoons will provide both the Cobras and Magic jerseys. I have handed out most of the Magic jerseys. Cobras jerseys will be handed out sometime in April before the tournament (as the Cobras team is still playing in the Typhoons final). 

Players will also need to wear the white “CN Link” socks. I will bring them during our Easter practice for those of you who do not have.

Obviously, your child needs to have full gear including sticks for the tournament, if you do not have full gear, please email me to let me know what you need, I will try to secure for you.

Dear Magic Parents and Players

FIRST PRACTICE THIS SUNDAY MARCH 25^th 5-6pm at MegaIce (1/3 ice)

Please note that our first practice is this coming Sunday (March 25th) 5-6pm at MegaIce (1/3 ice). Look forward to seeing you! 

TEAM PHOTO THIS SUNDAY MARCH 25^th 5:45pm 

We have an opportunity to put our team photo in the MI5 brochure. We would like to see if we can get as many players as we can to take a photo this coming Sunday March 25th at around 5:45-6pm at the end of practice. If you cannot make, do not worry, it’s ok. I will hand out all the Magic jerseys this Sunday before practice.

TEAM PRACTICE SCHEDULE

We have booked 5 dates during Easter holiday to practice at Dragon Center Full Ice ($250/person) and 1 Full Ice practice at MegaIce ($350/person). We will be practicing on the full rink so we can practice positioning and strategies. I have emailed you the sign up form to sign up your child for the dates you can make. Please follow the instruction to mail me the signup form (or return to me at the rink this Sunday) and please return the form with payment. As always, all practices are optional, you choose how many practice to attend.

 

REGISTRATION 

If you have not done so, please make registration payment ($1,400 HKD) to the Typhoons office and please let me know after you have made payment.

2. Child’s First Name (as on their passport because during the tournament there will be a passport check)
3. Child’s Surname (again as on their passport)
